Kathy has worked in education for over thirty years.  She started her career in 2 London boroughs, working in two mainstream and one special school before moving to Singapore to teach children from 3 – 16 years. Since moving to Cheshire, she has held a range of roles in schools. These include being a Maths, DT, Music and Assessment leader, and holding a range of senior leadership positions. For several years, Kathy was the Chairperson of Macclesfield Fair Access Panel and a headteacher representative on the Cheshire East SEND panel. She was headteacher of Puss Bank School & Nursery for more than 10 years before taking on her current role for the Aspire Educational Trust as Executive Headteacher.  She works across two schools: Puss Bank School & Nursery and Victoria Road Primary School.  In addition to this, she works across the north-west as a school improvement partner, using her vast experience as a school leader and as an Ofsted Inspector to improve outcomes for children.
