Emily is the Principal at Sandbach Primary Academy, proudly born and bred within the Aspire Multi Academy Trust. Now in her first year of headship, she brings ten years of teaching and leadership experience shaped by working across a range of schools, communities, and wonderfully diverse families. That journey has given her a deep appreciation for diverse school communities and the many starting points children bring.

Before stepping into headship, Emily worked as a phase lead and assistant head and completed a master’s degree in educational leadership. She has a genuine love of research and a strong belief in sharing ideas that make a real difference in classrooms. Her approach to leadership is rooted in being authentic, friendly, and naturally bubbly, creating an environment where staff, children, and families feel welcomed and supported.

She is passionate about building strong foundations, nurturing a love of reading, and championing excellent teaching and learning. Alongside her new role, she is completing her NPQ in SEND, strengthening her commitment to inclusive, high‑quality education. Above all, Emily believes wholeheartedly that every child, no matter their start, can and should succeed.
